Just a brief post: there’s a lot going on today, some stuff is pretty cool.
3-6 p.m.: De La Salle, the 11th-ranked football program in the nation, according to Maxpreps.com, will be practicing at CV High as they prepare to take on Loyola (Los Angeles). Game is supposed to be played in Glendale, I don’t know where, but you can capture their practice and see just how good they are.
5 p.m.: La Canada plays Flintridge Sacred Heart in girls’ volleyball, which should be a great match-up. Coaches Brock Turner (La Canada) and Shelley Orlandini (Sacred Heart) have a running bet on who’s going to win. The wager? A beer.
7 p.m. Football galore. La Canada hosts Glendale, Flintridge Prep hosts Villanova Prep at Occidental College and St. Francis visits Crescenta Valley at Moyse Field.
